The agreement, signed by the two countries authorities on 8th June last year, includes facilitation of travel for a number of groups, among them business people, state officials, journalists, researchers, artists, students and school children, as well as sport representatives and people attending funerals. The agreement, which is almost similar to the Russia-EU visa agreement signed and ratified last year, also opens up for easier visa procedures and for multi-year visas.
