Russian PM signed border delineation agreement with Norway

The Russian Prime Minister Viktor Zubkov has signed a decree on the border delineation agreement signed by Russian and Norwegian authorities in June last year.
The decree reads that issue is to be “approved and presented to the President, whereupon it will be taken to the State Duma for ratification. It was signed by PM Zubkov on the 29 December.
The Russian and Norwegian foreign ministries the 11 July last year signed a deal on the lower parts of the socalled disputed zone, a 175,000 sq meter big sea area still not delineated in the Barents Sea.
The new Russian-Norwegian agreement includes only a minor southern part of the zone, located in the area of the Varanger Fjord.
