Norway expresses support for NGOs in Russia

-Non-governmental organisations (NGOs) should have the possibility to work freely and play an important role in civil society, says Norwegian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jonas Gahr Støre. The minister says he has presented his position in meetings with Russian officials this week. -I said [to them] that Norway also in the future will listen to these organsiations and support their work, Støre said to journalists.The foreign minister also says that Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov
will head to Norway already next month.
Foreign Minister Støre is touring Russia this week, and has had meetings Murmansk, St.Petersburg and Moscow.
