Most of the people who were evacuated from the town of Kondopoga (Republic of Karelia) after the public unrest in late August have returned to their town homes, Interfax reports.
Representatives of the regional Spiritual Muslim Authority (DUM Karelii) say 25 Chechen individuals during the holy month of Ramadan lived in the mosque in Petrozavodsk, while the remaining refugees returned to Kondopoga. A total of 46 individuals were forced to move from Kondopoga after the clashed between people of Caucasian origin and locals late August and early September
