New Russian missile ready for testing in White Sea
The Russian Navy will conduct testing of the new "Bulava-30" missile in the White Sea in June and July this year, says Anatolii Smolyak, deputy head commander of the Navy. The missile will be placed on the "Akula" submarines, as well as the new "Borey"-type submarine, presently under construction at the Sevmash construction plant in Severodvinsk.
The "Dmitry Donskoy" nuclear sub, which is now undergoing repair and upgrade at Sevmash, will be one of the vessels carrying the "Bulava" weapon.
