Worries grow along Lule river

Emergency personnel yesterday spread turf over the Lule river in order to block the 2000 liter big oil spill from the Laxede hydropower station. The spill is the biggest ever in the Boden municipality. Experts fear the oil is not cleaned up before ice begins to cover the shores.
