BarentsObserver welcomes Total

The Norwegian branch of the company, the TOTAL E&P NORGE AS, has over forty years of experience within exploration and production of oil and gas on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. It is part of the worldwide French industrial group, which operates in more than 130 countries and has 95,000 employees.

Last summer, Total won a 25 percent stake in the Shtokman Development Company, thus securing a key role in the development of hydrocarbons in the Barents Sea.
