40 wildfires rage in Arkhangelsk Oblast
A total of 40 wildfires covering a territory of more than 5000 hectares still rage in Arkhangelsk Oblast.
There are fires in 12 of the regional municipalities. The biggest of them is in Lensky Rayon where a 2680 hectare area is on fire, Regnum reports.
Currrently, no settlements are threatened by the 40 fires. A total of 373 people and 68 vehicles are engaged in fire fighting, the news agency reports.
